TurboTax continues to be easy to use, reduces the time needed to prepare a return via transferring of information from previous returns, and when purchased at a discount without taxes and shipping cost is a value that is hard to equal.Customer Review: Just right

I have always liked Turbotax a lot and was looking forward to the advertised new, easy navigation from section to section for tax year 2008. Unfortunately, I found the new navigation more cumbersome that the old. I have a simple Schedule C to file with only one expense. It took me an hour to find how to input that expense, and I had to input the income 3 times to get to the expense screen. When looking at the online user help, many other folks had the same problem as I. Then when doing my state return, I forgot to include one credit and could not just go back to the page to input the number. I had to scroll through the entire state return, re-answering previous questions. This has not been my experience in the past, and next year I will be looking for a new tax prep. program.Customer Review: Product is ok, advertisements very misleading

My expectations were high for this product, and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. To maximize your returns as they claim they will do for you - you still need to have an understanding of your tax codes and laws. Basically you need to understand what is deductible and what isn't, once you know this the program fills out the form for you. When your done with your return they have an offer to have a proffesinal look over your taxes to make sure everything is correct - this is for more money ofcourse - why do I need this If I paid for the software already!!
