Customer Review: I've Used Turbo Tax For Years

I've used Turbo Tax for years and years now to do our taxes. It's easy to use and considerably cheaper than going to a tax preparer. The Home and Business works the best for us, as my husband is self-employed and the program guides us through all the details we need to fill in to do our return correctly. A nice feature of Turbo Tax is that if you use it from year to year, it recalls what you filled in last year. If the vendor/payer is the same, it automatically fills in the data for you, which saves some time.Customer Review: Programers should be fired!

This year's program is missing some of the previous year's instructions which make it much more difficult if you don't know what you are doing. I had a schedule K-1 Form 1120S, it would not let me enter a figure off line one and off line 2 with out deleting the other one. I finally had to enter it like I had 2 K-1's. I spent many hours longer than it should have been figuring this out with the help of turbo tax support which had to use trial and error to find a way around this problem. It also imported information from last year that it should not have and I had to delete it therefore It would not let me e-file until I deleted and reentered all the information for my businesses and investments. Once again it took two phone calls to the support and many more hours to finally find a way around this so I could e-file. Also don't but Turbo Tax Business that program would move my numbers around and delete some without me touching the computer the TurboTax tech was in my computer when it did this and saw for herself I didn't do it. I've used Turbotax for the last 3 yrs. and have been very pleased with the thoroughness of the program. It is well worth the cost and easy to navigate. Each year gets easier since the program is able to import the info from the previous year. Many happy returns!Customer Review: Great Buy!

I work a full time job and have a part time home business, plus, I got married last year AND my husband worked in TWO states! Needless to say, my taxes were COMPLICATED. This was the first year I bought and used Turbo Tax. As far as I'm concerned, I will NEVER go without it again. It was wonderful. Thank you to the Turbo Tax team! Keep up the good work for next year please!
