I entered a considerable amount of data for my 2007 returns over 4 hours. TurboTax returned a message that it couldn't save my return -- sometimes that happens after you print from TurboTax. Then it crashed with an internal error. My previous work was gone when TurboTax restarted.
I have been using TurboTax since 2003. The 2006 version had some minor malfunctions, but didn't fail to save data, and didn't crash. Check the reviews of Quicken -- it looks like Intuit is losing its grip on software quality.
Do frequent saves, and track your work in case you need to re-enter everything.

I have used Turbo Tax every year and each year it keeps improving.
The ease of using it and understanding it is phenomenal.
I feel that Turbo Tax protects me also by detecting any errors I may
have made.
