I am upset at Quickens marketing. There website says the state is additional... I bought this version today and when I got to the state it said that one state is included for free. Just like always.
The program downloaded ok (after I installed the Amazon downloader) It worked Ok... and was about the same as other years.
I don't think there marketing is doing them any good! But, I was happy with the way things turned out. If people have been tricked into paying for the state... that is just wrong.

I use TurboTax every year, but I was hesitant to purchase it for download off Amazon b/c of all the bad reviews. But, it's April 11 and I didn't have time to waste. Other than one hitch during download, which had to do with Amazons download utility (see below for help), all went great as usual and TurboTax walked me through my return with no issue, and YES State is FREE (1 state) and YES, eFile is FREE (for Federal).
The issue I had with download was the utility seemed to lose internet connection. After closing the window, I just right-clicked on the Utility icon in the system tray, clicked Open Download Folder, and clicked the file to download.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! I use tax software to minimize the time it takes to complete my tax returns. The download took almost 3-hours to complete. Each time you access the software to work on your tax return, an automatic feature searches for "updates", which has taken not less than 15-minutes the three times I began to work on my tax return. I read complaints by customers who bought and loaded the CD, only to encounter trouble, so I opted for the download through Amazon, thinking they would have worked out any problems. Boy, was I mistaken. Intuit really blew it with this version of TurboTax, and I will never buy their software again. By the way, I have a broadband internet connection and never have had problems with downloads like this before. Also, I had been using TurboTax for years, but never again!! Customer Review: Shove It

To think of paying 41.00 for a download while the box edition on same site is 30.00 is obscene. I'll go to a box store and pay full retail first. Also makes me rethink the ethics of Amazon as well.
