Customer Review: Don't buy this if you intend to grow

I strongly suggest you consider some other program. This may initially seem easy to use, but if you intend to be using it about a year from now, and find that you want to expand your business, you may be told that you'll have to replace every copy you have now. I bought 2006 QB Pro about 3 or 4 months ago. I recently decided to hire a bookkeeper to keep my books from a different location, so intended to buy her (outside bookkeeper) a copy of QB Pro so that periodically I could send her my data which she could take to prepare all necessary reports, etc. I just spoke with Intuit and was told that this is not possible. QB Pro *2006* is no longer available. They will not sell it to me. The only version that is available is 2007. I was told by the agent that 2006 is absolutely not available. And my 2006 data will not be interchangeable with 2007. That means the *only* version I can purchase for the bookkeeper will require me to purchase - NOT AN UPGRADE, which Intuit won't sell - an entirely new copy for myself at full price, despite the fact that I just bought my copy only a few months ago. I was informed by the agent that I'm just out of luck that I plan to expand more than 60 days after purchase (during which period I could have returned the program) but after they no longer will sell the version I just bought. This is outrageous. I even pay for extra services, but since I have to buy 2 copies anyway I will look at Microsoft's new products. I will not do business with a company that treats its customers this way. So, I warn you that if you buy a product from Intuit and expect that you'll need to buy more copies later, your present copy may not work with a new version, and you'll have to buy complete packages to replace all of the ones you'd previously bought - since you'll not be able to get copies to match those presently on your system. And, no "upgrades" - you'll have to pay full price to replace them all.Customer Review: Avoid this product

I could not get past the buggy registration process so I can't use the product. Why is registration required when you pay full price for a retail version, who gave Intuit the right to require registration after collecting payment. I wish I had googled this before buying. I'm not the only one with this problem. License issues apparently repeat with every new release every year.Customer Review: For an individual with a small business...

...this isn't a bad piece of software to have. The set up is a bit tedious, but all that information is necessary. If you were using an earlier version of Quicken or QuickBooks, it does allow you to transfer everything over almost seamlessly. For anything larger than a single shop/store or small business, or if wanting to network and have multiple users, it's a bit trickier. We tried to to this, but posting and such was a bit complicated, especially if someone was in one of the modules that was affected by the posting. It's a pain to run around asking, "Who's in the program?" For my home business, it is a great tool and makes life a lot easier.Customer Review: NICE PROGRAM EASY TO USE

Easy to use, I am not an accountant or even a check book user,but this software setup is great and the support is even better. It's great something like this has been available and gets better each year from what I can see.
