0 starts would be more appropriate.
Finally wanted to update from Quickbooks Pro 5 (Mac), and purchased the download version.
After confirmation of purchase the download page resulted in a "File not found" message, no matter how I tried to access it.
There was no option to report a problem! The only customer support was via phone for a fee of $39.-. Unwilling to pay this I cancelled my order and requested a refund - That seemed to work, but according to their website you have to do this within 45 min of purchase!!! It was hard to find. By the time I realized the problem, tried to contact customer service and found the hidden refund info, my time for requesting a refund was almost up!
I will stick with my reliable workhorse Quickbooks Pro 5 for Mac, and forego the improvements I had hoped for (Mac address book tie in. i.e.) At least this old version works.
Don't bother with the download version!

Intuit is now offering eighty dollar eCoupons as a means of begging people to purchase this upgrade. Even at such a severely discounted price, you'll still probably want to send it back as they've done even less work on this year's edition than they did in the last three. I am a long time Quickbooks user, who recently moved from PC to Mac. The Mac Quickbooks software (2009) has significant bugs. For example, try doing a Report and apply a Filter - CRASH - every time. It's such an obvious bug that I can't figure out how Intuit released this software. Customer Review: Email PDF doesn't work - Pay for tech support?!!

I have used "Email PDF" daily in QB2007. However, this function does not work in 2009. It does nothing. I called support and they said I would have to buy tech support for them to discuss. Give me a break. I just upgraded a day ago and all I could get out of them is to either buy support from them or call Apple for "imac support". They don't know a thing about Macs and they don't seem willing to help out.

What a CON job! I've used Quickbooks for 9 years, switched to Mac, and bought this without READING THE FINE PRINT. Oh, yeah, it there as it talks about what the program will do, only it's at the bottom of the list. YOU CANNOT MAKE A PAYROLL CHECK FROM YOUR COMPUTER BUT HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR A $24 MONTH FEE TO AN ONLINE SERVICE! I know this is unbelievable, but for a small business, it makes no business sense. This Intuit program therefore fits into the category of a con job. Nothing but a con job. What company can use a program that doesn't allow you to make a payroll...for a not so small fee, of course!
